Title of Session: The Nuts and Bolts of RtI--Response to Intervention

Session Goal: There will be an overview of the Response to Intervention Model and how it is effectively employed in schools. Participants will learn the why and how behind the concept of Response to Intervention. There will be a review of the RtI key concepts, progress monitoring, the role of collaborative teams, and the significance of having a laser-like focus on data to differentiate instruction for all students. There will be a required reading and participants will be involved in small group activities related to Response to Intervention.
